Earlier I was referring to the politicians who called the bloody shutdown in Bangalore/ Karnataka ASS-Holes, but then I thought about the Donkey’s aka Ass.
What has an Ass ever done to be compared to a politician?
The Ass works hard, extremely loyal, don’t work for bribes. And your Ass is always there when you need it, and without your asshole you would be dead.
A better definition for the corrupt politicians and other who I feel I need to insult would simply be scum.
PS: Why the shutdown? If you want a more detailed explanation you can google it, but if you want my version: BJP politicians shutdown the state of Karnataka in protest for Chief Minister being accused of corruption. According to the news, the corrupt politicians accuse the other parties corrupt politicians of being corrupt. Everyone in India knows that being a politician is a ‘license to print money from corruption’, that is why many become politicians. Rather than resolving these accusations by actually addressing the actual corruption charges the Politicians make the people suffer.
Think about it, if you were innocent why mobilize a mob and disrupt the livelihoods of millions of people. If you have nothing to fear, face the charges and prove yourself innocent.

The Indians are a proud race, proud of being the source of the vedic scriptures, proud of their successes, their economy, their professional status as Doctors, lawyers, business men and women around the world. Indians rank as many of the richest people in the world, and are quick to point out historical facts about past glories.
The fact remains that today India is ranked as one of the most corrupt countries in the world… not a title any Indian is proud about.
The underlying source of this: pure GREED.
Without being here, I would never have been so aware of the challenges the good hardworking people of India have to deal with day in day out. I see it as a mission for every good Indian to do what they can to stamp out corruption. I am not saying it’s easy, it might not even be in our lifestyle – the fact remains it just needs to be done.
Its incredible that the economy is booming, yet there are many long term challenges that are not being addressed by politicians. They are so busy accusing each other of being corrupt, all while children die of tainted water, sold into prostitution, so many never even getting the basics in life let along education.
It is all well and good to work towards a global vision of a love, peace and joy, where people respect each other, celebrate cultural diversity, and respects mother earth, the fact remains that until politicians, priests, and business tycoons really put people and planet before profit, the future for our children looks bleak.
If only they were more like Asses that graze peacefully in the field!
